✍ About · The Curator

Who Maher is, in relation to this work.

MetaX is not a neutral platform. It is an edited corpus with a named editor and a published standard, and every page carries his judgement. That is stated here plainly, because a corpus that hides its editor is asking to be trusted on terms it will not disclose.

He is one person, and the honest statement of that is part of the record.

▤ MX-001 §1.2 · The record

What he wrote, and what he governs.

Maher authored the operator curriculum, the ten-volume Meta-X layer library in Arabic, the BCIA research charter, the assessment rubric, the lexicon, and every governing document in this corpus — including the one you are reading.

The curriculum

The full operator and engineering curriculum — fifty-two series across five branches — from placement to the threshold of research.

The Ascent library

The ten-volume Meta-X layer library, written in Arabic first, with the English delivery as the derivative.

The BCIA charter

The research charter for the umbrella under remediation, and the rubric by which its work is assessed.

The corpus

The lexicon and every governing document — the Charter, the About corpus, and the policies that bind all eight properties.

He governs releases and holds the final editorial call, subject to §0.5 of the Charter. He is the License Steward of Maher's License and the founder of the other projects licensed under it.

⚠ The honest dependency

A bus factor of one, published rather than denied.

MetaX currently has a bus factor of one across editorial judgement. Several parts of the corpus exist only because he has continued to be well and interested.

The dependency is stated

Every dependency on the Curator that has not yet been engineered away is a defect — and in this universe, defects are published, not managed.

The remedy is architectural

MX-015, the succession instrument, exists to reduce that dependency rather than to deny it. It cannot be amended unilaterally once a successor has accepted in writing.

The status is honest

Where a part of the corpus is thin, in production, or under remediation, it says so on its own face — with a status badge, not a promise.

⊢ MX-001 §1.4 · The standard

One thing is assessed: judgement under scrutiny.

A MetaX credential asserts that a named reviewer examined a real artefact produced by the candidate, against a published rubric, in a process the candidate could see — and could defend the resulting decision to a second calibrated reviewer who had not seen the first reviewer's reasoning.

It asserts nothing about employability, income, or aptitude. Any page on any MetaX property that implies otherwise is a defect and should be reported under MX-016.
